<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like fishing rod with its ear tip hardly broken. <P>SOLUTION: The fishing rod 1 includes a grip 4 equipped with a reel-fitting part 3 on the basal part MT side of the rod pole 2, wherein the rod pole 2 has been formed by vertically laminating three fiber-reinforced resin layers together, and these fiber-reinforced resin layers consist of glass fiber-reinforced resin layers each having longitudinal fibers in the direction along the longitudinal axis J of the rod pole 2 and transverse fibers in the direction of crossing the longitudinal axis J, and the rod pole 2 has been formed in a transversely curved plate-like way, with a recessed curved surface 2d formed on the top-surface 2j side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
