<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic molding capable of manufacturing a ceramic molding having a higher bulk density. <P>SOLUTION: When manufacturing a ceramic molding (preform 25) by filling a mold 22 with a mixture (sample 21) obtained by mixing ceramic powder and a thermosetting resin-based binder, or further carbon powder together, and by performing pressure molding of the mixture by a hot press 23 while raising its temperature up to a curing start temperature or higher of the binder, pressure molding is performed while in the temperature raising step of the mixture, raising once the temperature of the mixture up to a temperature over a melting point and below the curing start temperature of the binder as a whole, and then raising the temperature up to the curing start temperature or higher of the binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
