摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool positioning method and device in which positioning is carried out by applying voltage to a tool and a workpiece and by detecting current in a noncontact state and highly precise positioning can be carried out while preventing the breakage of the tool and the workpiece even though the applying voltage is large, and further highly precise positioning can be carried out even in an aluminum material. <P>SOLUTION: The positioning is carried out by the tool positioning device having electrodes 3a, 3b for connecting the tool 1 and the workpiece 2, a limiting resistor 5 connected between the electrodes 3a, 3b in series, a voltage supplying unit 4 applying the voltage between the electrodes 3a, 3b via the limiting resistor 5, a differential amplifier 6 amplifying the potential of both ends of the limiting resistor 5, a comparator 7 comparing the voltage output from the differential amplifier 6 with a determining reference voltage, and blocking unit 13 detecting the output of the comparator 7 and blocking the voltage supply from the voltage supplying unit 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
