A multifunctional wiring detector for an electric energy metering device includes: a phase voltammeter (1), a direct-current power source (11) provided inside the meter casing, and a pair of testing sockets (4, 5) and a pair of electrode sockets (6, 7) arranged on the meter casing, with one pole of the direct-current power source (11) connected to one electrode socket (6) and the other pole connected to the other electrode socket (7) via a switch (10) fixed on the meter casing, with the two testing sockets (4, 5) connected to two ends of a change-over switch (1b) of the phase voltammeter (1) respectively. The wiring detector is also provided with testing wires (2, 3, 8, 9) matched with the testing sockets (4, 5) and the electrode sockets (6, 7). The multifunctional wiring detector for the electric energy metering device has the function of a phase voltammeter, and by connecting the testing wires matched with the testing sockets and electrode sockets to the corresponding sockets when it is needed to carry out examination and judgment on an electric energy metering circuit by means of the detector, the examination and judgment can be carried out on the electric energy metering circuit using the phase voltammeter. The multifunctional wiring detector for the electric energy metering device has a rational and reliable construction, which can greatly simplify the process of testing the electric energy metering device and the process of connecting and removing wires for examination, and its examination and judgment are accurate.
