<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the joint portion of a first image and a second image unobtrusive, in an image processing technique which joins the first image and the second image, the contents of which partially overlap, to make an integrated image. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of joining the first image and the second image the contents of which partially overlap to make the integrated image, a first partial image Ip1 obtained by cutting off a portion of an overlapping region Icl overlapping a second image I2 from a first image I1 at a predetermined cut-off line Lc1, and a second partial image Ip2 obtained by cutting off a portion overlapping the first partial image Ip1 when overlapping the overlapping regions of the first image I1 and the second image I2 each other, from the second image I2 are joined to each other with the cut-off lines of the first and second partial images matched, and the cut-off lines are made to be nonlinear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
