<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for specifying accurately an inspected position on a curved surface serving as a piping outer surface, regardless of individual differences of piping. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for specifying a piping position, from one end or the other end of the curved surface of a bent outer surface of the piping, a position where the center angle of the curved surface is a predetermined angle is specified. The method includes the steps of: specifying the one end and the other end of the curved surface; specifying a base point on a position corresponding to the predetermined angle, on a straight line connecting the one end and the other end of the curved surface; specifying a direction corresponding to the predetermined angle from the base point; and specifying a position on the curved surface crossing the direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
