<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color video encoding method and a color video encoder. <P>SOLUTION: A prediction encoder between motion compensation frames comprises motion estimation means (7,10,13,14)for determining a motion vector by using the existing color plane of an encoded frame as a reference image for an incoming color video, and using a color plane of a frame encoded having the same color plane as the existing color and separated from the encoded frame by a constant interval as a reference image, motion estimation means (11,15,16,17) for obtaining a predictive image by performing motion compensation of the locally decoded color plane of the frame encoded, prediction means (2) for obtaining the predictive residual of a predictive image obtained by motion compensation and the existing color plane of an encoded frame, and means (3,4) for encoding the predictive residual. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
