TRANSLUCENT RESIN FOR SEALING MATERIAL, AND SEALING MATERIAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE TRANSLUCENT RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent resin for a sealing material capable of remarkably improving translucency, heat resistance, and adhesion (stickiness), and to provide the sealing material and an electronic device including the translucent resin.

SOLUTION: The translucent resin for the sealing material includes: a first polysiloxane which has hydrogen atoms (Si-H) bonded to silicon atoms at terminals; and a second polysiloxane which has alkenyl atoms (Si-Vi) bonded to silicon atoms at terminals; wherein the ratio (nH/nVi) between the number (nH) of the hydrogen atoms (Si-H) bonded to the silicon atoms and the number (nVi) of alkenyl atoms (Si-Vi) bonded to the silicon atoms is 1 to 1.2.
