摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OCV characteristics estimation method, capable of accurately estimating the OCV characteristics of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery such as a lithium ion secondary battery, on a long-term basis. <P>SOLUTION: An OCV characteristics estimation method which allows a computer to estimate the OCV characteristics of a secondary battery 200 comprises: an OCP characteristics acquisition step (S102) of acquiring first positive electrode OCP characteristics indicating the relation between first quantity of electricity or the conducting quantity of electricity at a prescribed first time point and the positive electrode open circuit potential of the secondary battery 200, and acquiring first negative electrode OCP characteristics indicating the relation between the first quantity of electricity and the negative electrode open circuit potential of the secondary battery 200; an increment acquisition step (S104) of acquiring an impedance increment or an AC impedance increment of the secondary battery 200 during the period from the first time point to a prescribed second time point at a prescribed frequency; and an estimation step (S106) of estimating the OCV characteristics of the secondary battery 200 at the second time point, by using the acquired first positive electrode OCP characteristics, the first negative electrode OCP characteristics, and the impedance increment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
