<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect sealability of a housing under a sufficiently sealed condition even it has an opening in a complicated shape, to reduce manufacturing cost of an inspection device and to shorten a delivery period of the inspection device. <P>SOLUTION: A sealability inspection device for a housing of the present invention for inspecting sealability of a housing having an opening, comprises: first and second plates that may be inserted through the opening into an inside space of the housing; elastic members provided on outer peripheries of the two plates so as to be sandwiched between the two plates; pressing means for elastically deforming the elastic members by pressing the elastic members and reducing a space between the first plate and the second plate, so as to make the elastic members expand outward from the outer peripheries of the two plates and to bring them into tight contact with an inner wall of the housing; pressure control means for decompressing or compressing a fluid contained in the inside space of the housing sealed by the expanded elastic members; and pressure measuring means for measuring pressure change caused in the inside space of the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
