<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blinking measuring instrument capable of calculating a fatigue degree based on a sure correlation between the fatigue degree and eye movement. <P>SOLUTION: The blinking measuring instrument 1 includes an imaging section 5 for capturing an image of a subject's eye 100, and a calculation means (an eyelid extraction process section 6 and an eyelid opening/closing measuring section 7) for calculating an eye closing time when blinking based on image data captured by the imaging section 5. The blinking measuring instrument calculates the eye closing time as a numerical value indicating the fatigue degree.
