<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrought copper alloy excellent in cuttability and extensibility, optimal for applications where high strength or high electric conductivity is necessary while reducing environmental loads. <P>SOLUTION: The wrought copper alloy includes 1.5-7.0 mass% Ni, 0.3-2.3 mass% Si, and 0.02-1.0 mass% S, with the remainder comprising Cu and inevitable impurities. In the wrought copper alloy, 40% or more of areas of sulfides in a cross section parallel to an extension direction are present within crystals of a matrix, and the sulfides having an aspect ratio of 1:1-1:100 in a cross section parallel to the extension direction are dispersed in the matrix. The wrought copper alloy has a tensile strength of 500 MPa or more and an electric conductivity of 25% IACS or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
