An image processing apparatus includes: an operation part that specifies, for an input image of an inputted video signal, a display range of the input image to be displayed on a display part according to a user operation; and an image processing part that extracts an image within the display range from the input image when it is detected that the display range specified by the operation signal reaches an edge of four sides of the input image, and performs a process of drawing a line along an edge of a screen of the display part correspondingly to a direction in which the display range reaches the edge of the four sides of the input image. |
