<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveyor capable of allowing a loader to change its posture of grasping one end of the workpiece to a posture of grasping the other end without using another device. <P>SOLUTION: The workpiece conveyor 1 includes a guide rail 2, a loader 3, a workpiece mount 31 and a workpiece holding posture shifting control means 42. A loader head 7 of the loader 3 can change a rotation angle of a lift 6 around an axis O in an elevating/lowering direction by a loader head rotation mechanism 13. The workpiece holding posture shifting control means 42 controls the loader 3 to perform a motion of grasping, with a chuck 8, one end of the workpiece W machined by a machine tool 30, a motion of carrying the workpiece W grasped by the chuck 8 to the workpiece mount 31, a motion of releasing the workpiece W from the chuck 8 and putting the workpiece W on a workpiece mounting surface 31a of the workpiece mount 31 in a lying posture, and a motion of turning the loader head 7 and grasping the other end of the workpiece W on the workpiece mounting surface 31a by the chuck 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
