<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a stereoscopic display device capable of reducing a possibility of giving a flicker feeling while improving a resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The driving method of a stereoscopic display device includes: driving a plurality of optical barriers (opening/closing parts 12A-12D) grouped into a plurality of barrier groups to open/close at different timings according to the barrier groups; based on multi-viewpoint images (frame images P1-P8 and Q1-Q8), performing a display operation synchronized with the opening/closing operation of the optical barrier of each barrier group; and, in the display operation, performing a display based on a plurality of groups of mutually different multi-viewpoint images in a round period (a barrier opening/closing period T1) when the opening/closing operation of the optical barriers of the plurality of barrier groups take a round. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
