The image processing apparatus outputs an image signal for a stereoscopic display. A second sub-camera module including the second image sensor has a signal processing unit. The second image is acquired by the second sub-camera module. The signal processing unit executes signal processing for adjusting a second image corresponding to a difference between the numbers of pixels of the first image sensor and the second image sensor.
