<p>The invention relates to a drumhead (4) rim assembly for percussion musical instruments (1) and to a method for tensioning said drumheads (4). The assembly includes a rim (5) in the form of a circular crown and a cylindrical element (10) coupled to the inside of said rim (5) that can rotate with respect to the rim. Said rim (5) includes a series of circumferentially aligned openings (6) and a lever (7) supported on a supporting element (14); it also includes an elongated slot (15) and a stop element (13) that protrudes from the inner face thereof. The cylindrical element (10) includes protrusions (11) on the outer surface thereof, protruding downward from the outer face of the cylindrical element (10), traversing the slot (15) of the rim (5); and an arm (9) with a threaded opening, into which is screwed a tension rod (8) that also traverses the stop element (13).</p> |
