<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when installing a handrail device of a passenger conveyor at a construction site, it is necessary to prepare a large number of part items such as a packing base and a packing cover, and also each installation work is necessary for each item, thus causing the impairment of installation workability. <P>SOLUTION: In this handrail device of the passenger conveyor, a panel packing 4 is constituted of a single member which is composed of: a cover 4a which covers the lower part of a handrail panel 3; a deck contact prevention part 4b into which the edge of an internal deck 7 is fitted; a reinforcement part 4c which is arranged between the deck contact prevention part 4b and the cover 4a, and withstands a load applied from above; and a deformable blocking part 4d which blocks a gap between the handrail panel 3 and the deck contact prevention part 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
