This induction heat cooker is provided with a heating coil (1), an insulating plate (3), ferrite pieces (4), a heating coil support base (2) supporting the heating coil (1) and having a positioning part (7) that positions the ferrite pieces (4), elastic bodies (5) with a thermal conductivity greater than air, and a nonmagnetic metal plate (6). By positioning the lower edge of the positioning part (7) above the bottom surface of the ferrite pieces, the space between the insulating plate (3) and the ferrite pieces (4) can be filled in with the elastic bodies (5), which have thermal conductivity greater than air, and because the lower edge of the positioning part (7) that surrounds the ferrite pieces (4) is positioned above the bottom surface of the ferrite pieces, the ferrite pieces (4) will surely come into contact with the nonmagnetic metal plate (6) first; therefore, the air layer that inhibits thermal conduction can be made smaller, and the coil heat can be efficiently radiated to an aluminum plate, which is the nonmagnetic metal plate.
