The present invention consists in a mixture of oligo glucans (OG) chemically obtained from the cell wall of Trichoderma harzianum fungus, the method for obtaining the same and the method for applying the same in cucurbitaceae plants under stress conditions caused by hot weather so as to reinforce the antioxidant enzymatic system thereof. The mixture comprises the following monosaccharides: glucose (49.26%), arabinose (17.78%), xilose (17.57%), galactose (13.99%), and mannose (3.40%). The lyophilized mixture of OG is applied in crops of cucurbitaceous plants by double spray, with a difference time, between the first and the second application, of 12 hours, in a concentration of 500 ppm (0.5 mg/L) in water, applying 1 mL of the solution per seedling.
