PULSE WAVE VELOCITY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM USING PIEZO FILM SENSOR AND BODY SENSOR NETWORK DEVICE

PURPOSE: A measurement system of a PWV(Pulse Wave Velocity) using a piezo film sensor and a body sensor network device are provided to measure a PWV by using only two piezo film sensors. CONSTITUTION: A U-Healthcare apparatus measures a PWV. A body sensor network device digitizes the measured analog signal. The body sensor network device takes charge of wirelessly transmitting the signal measured to a Smart phone. Carotid artery -carotid-Femoral PWVs have the most significant correlation with stiffness of a main artery and a result value of PWV. A piezo film sensor connected to a WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) device is respectively attached to each A or B spot. The sensor measures pulse waves at a corresponding arterial blood location.
