<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform distortion compensation in a plurality of frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: A distortion compensation circuit device connected to a front stage of a wideband amplifier 10 to compensate for a distortion of a signal output from the wideband amplifier 10 includes linearizers LRZ1, 2, 3 as distortion compensation circuits for receiving an input signal and generating to the input signal a reverse distortion of a distortion generated in the wideband amplifier 10. The linearizers LRZ1, 2, 3 are arranged in parallel in correspondence with different frequency bands and are switched for use in accordance with the frequency value of the input signal. A variable gain amplifier 2 is used in the front stage of the wideband amplifier 10 to adjust a signal gain and provide an appropriately adjusted signal output such that the reverse distortion efficiently cancels the distortion generated in the wideband amplifier 10, which leads to a further distortion characteristic improvement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
