<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail tension adjusting device for passenger conveyor, which can increase and decrease the tension of a moving handrail. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the moving handrail tension adjusting device 22 for adjusting the tension of the moving handrail 3 guided by a handrail 12. The device includes: a rail pressing part 23 for pressing the handrail 12 in a direction in which the tension of the moving handrail 3 increases; a handrail pressing part 24 for pressing the moving handrail 3 in a direction in which the tension of the moving handrail 3 decreases; a supporting part 26 for supporting the rail pressing part 23 and the handrail pressing part 24; and a tension gauge 27 arranged on the supporting part 26, which measures the pressing force of the rail pressing part 23 to the handrail 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
