<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environment capable of reducing the number of issued receipts. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity sales data processor of an embodiment includes information acquisition means, benefit giving means, and issuance control means. The information acquisition means acquires receipt issuance necessity information showing whether a receipt with printed information on a transaction needs to be issued. The benefit giving means gives a customer in the transaction a benefit if the receipt issuance necessity information shows that issuance of the receipt is unnecessary.
