PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle without starting an engine is provided to reduce whole size and weight and be used while an engine turned off. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle without starting an engine comprises a first and second compressors(100a), a lie down type condenser, first and second capillary tubes, first and second evaporators(400a, 400b). The first and second compressors are operated by a vehicle battery. The lie down type condenser comprises an inlet for coolant and first and second condensing units exhausting coolant. The first and second capillary tubes are connected to the condenser and the first and second evaporators. The first and second evaporators comprise an inlet and an outlet port for the flow of coolant.
