A collaborative input system comprises a computer and a plurality of user terminals 116, in which the user terminals are adapted to communicate with the computer. A method utilizing the system, comprises defining one or more user groups 206,204, and allocating one or more of the plurality of user terminals 116 to the one or more user groups. Within a group a master terminal (1167, 1164) can be defined, and only the master terminal can communicate with the computer during an interactive session, with communication with the remaining terminals being disabled. Groups 204,206 can be selected by selecting user identities on a display. The collaborative input system may comprise a whiteboard and the interactive session may be a question and answer session. |
