PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to provide detergent in an automatic detergent supply mode and a manual detergent supply mode. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a water tub(20), a spinning basket, a detergent supplying unit(60) and housing. The water tub is arranged in the inner part of a main body in order to contain water. The spinning basket is pivotally installed inside the water tub. The detergent supplying unit provides water with detergent to the water tub. The detergent supplying unit comprises detergent housing and a detergent accepting container. The detergent housing is installed within the main body. The detergent accepting container is installed to the detergent housing as moveable.
