The invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for production of thermal, mechanical or electric energy, melting materials, utilization of wastes and others. A method of operation of steam-plasma installation includes supply of water heated to temperature close to the temperature of phase transition of water to gaseous state, or vapor, to heat generator, process of transfer of working medium from one generator to the other one is carried out through increase of velocity of motion of working medium molecules to velocity that is close or exceeds velocity of sound. To the next heat generator, besides the steam-plasma jet, one supplies water that is preliminarily heated by means of part of water that circulates by closed circle between the previous and next heat generators. An installation for the realization of the method is disclosed. Increase of temperature of the steam-plasma jet is achieved, this enhances efficiency of operation of the steam-plasma burners. |
