PURPOSE: A terminal including a touch screen and digital broadcast control method according to a touch event in a terminal is provided to control a DMB(Digital Media Broadcast) function by simply inputting a touch event during watching time. CONSTITUTION: A control unit outputs broadcast data in a digital broadcasting mode on a display unit(415). When a touch event is sensed during the output of the broadcast data, the control unit tracks the movement of the touch event(425,430). The control unit confirms control stroke information corresponding to the stroke of the tracked touch event(435). The control unit executes functions according to the confirmed control stroke information(445).
