PURPOSE: A wire tension maintaining device and a method thereof are provided to reduce the replacing period and maintain the tension of a wire and prevent the droop of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A wire tension maintaining device(10) comprises a pair of pulleys(15), a wire(11), and an automatic idler(13). The pair of pulleys comprises a wire insertion groove(15a). The wire is inserted in the wire insertion groove and transfers driving power. The automatic idler maintains the tension of the wire by pushing the side portion of the wire in case the wire is drooped.
