FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and recycling radioactive wastes from nuclear industry enterprises. According to the method, filter material is treated with aqueous solutions and then undergoes sorption or extraction purification from impurities. A metal salt is precipitated from sorption (extraction) purification solutions and then calcined until a metal oxide is obtained. The starting material containing uranium, boron and silicon is broken up in nitric acid with concentration (4.50.2) mol/l at temperature (1052)C for 2 to 3 hours. To remove silicon, diproxamine-157 flocculant is added to the nitric acid solution in amount of 0.10-0.25 mg per 1 l solution one hour before the end of the breaking up process. ^ EFFECT: high degree of purification from radioactive wastes. ^ 1 tbl, 8 ex |
