FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: backlight device for a display device, according to the present invention, has a tubular light source 15 and a contact connector 14 used to supply energy to the tubular light source 15. The tubular light source 15 has a glass tube 34 and a holder 36, having a cylindrical shape, which can be fitted to the glass tube 34. The holder 36 is meant for electrical connection of the tubular light source 15 to a terminal 14. The holder 36 has an elastic element 38 for changing the inner diameter, which can be elastically deformed and radially such that its inner diameter is changed in accordance with the outer diameter of the glass tube 34. ^ EFFECT: obtaining a highly reliable backlight device for a display device employing universal holders which can be used with any shape of lamps. ^ 14 cl, 18 dwg |
