The device has a first radiator element (56) cooling high temperature liquid coolant circulating inside a high temperature cooling circuit (10). A second radiator element (72) cools low temperature liquid coolant circulating inside a low temperature cooling circuit (50). A third radiator element (56) cools the low temperature liquid coolant. A distribution mechanism (70) distributes the high temperature liquid coolant between first and second elements and the low temperature liquid coolant between second and third elements based on the cooling required by the high temperature coolant. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling liquid coolant by using a liquid coolant cooling device.
