<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption agent for removing DMS contained in a fuel gas such as city gas, LP gas, gasoline or kerosene as an odorant in good selectivity, and to provide a method for selectively adsorbing and removing DMS. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a selective adsorption agent for DMS comprising ferrierite having the c-axis orientation, c/a obtained from a powder X-ray diffraction of ≥3 and c/b of ≥16.
