<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus which is capable of measuring both a blood glucose level and hemoglobin A1c level, is compact enough to be portable and is adaptable to POC allowing measurement with a small specimen amount. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus measuring a blood glucose level and hemoglobin A1c level in a blood specimen comprises: a specimen attachment part 1 detachably attaching a specimen 200 on which a blood sample is dotted; a light-emitting part 2 emitting irradiation light to the specimen 200; a light-receiving part 3 receiving reflected light from the specimen 200; and a calculation part 4 calculating a blood glucose level and hemoglobin A1c level in a blood sample based on a photometric value from the light-receiving part 3. In the apparatus, a specimen (A) having a composition (a) reacting with glucose and developing color is attached as the specimen 200 to measure a blood glucose level in a blood sample, and a specimen (B) having a composition (b) reacting with glycosylated hemoglobin and developing color is attached as the specimen 200 to measure a hemoglobin A1c level in a blood sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
