The unloading device has conveying unit (22) for conveying cargo (18) along discharge direction (24) from transport unit (16). A mobile component (27) e.g. conveyer belt of conveying unit, is driven in contrary to unloading direction into the transport unit, during the cargo discharge process. The cargos are stacked on a base (36) during the transportation. The base is driven relative to the movement of conveying unit by a drive unit (46a), so as to automatically transfer cargos on conveying unit.
