<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an etching agent of excellent aging resistance, capable of obtaining stable etching even when continuously etched, without containing an effluent hardly-treating component such as boron and fluorine, and capable of obtaining excellent uniformity in the etching and excellent corrosion resistance after etched, in the etching agent for aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a treatment method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The etching agent for the aluminum or aluminum alloy contains 50 pts.mass of amino-carboxylic acid, 5-300 pts.mass of at least one selected from the group comprising hydroxy carboxylic acids, dicarboxylic acids, polycarboxylic acids, and salts thereof, and 10-800 pts.mass of at least one selected from the group comprising hydroxides, carbonates and bicarbonates of alkali metals, and a pH of an aqueous etching solution is within a range of 8-10 in the etching agent for the aluminum or aluminum alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
