<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for managing energy sources on a hybrid vehicle in consideration of combined use of electricity and fuel. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation system 12 is mounted on a vehicle including a motor 18 that is rotated by electricity stored in a battery 14 and an internal combustion engine 8 that generates power by burning fuel stored as an energy source in a fuel tank 7, and using at least one of the above driving sources. A control part 30 acquires remaining electricity stored in the battery 14 and an input consumable fuel amount to calculate charging time required for traveling to the destination on the basis of the remaining power and the consumable fuel amount.
