IMAGE GENERATING APPARATUS, IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to emphasize the image of an object included in an overlapping area.

SOLUTION: In the case of composing plural captured images to generate composite images showing the scene surrounding a vehicle viewed from a virtual view point and generating the overlapping area of the composite images corresponding to an area in which image-capturing ranges by two of the plural vehicle-mounted cameras overlap, two images captured by the two vehicle-mounted cameras are mixed and the image of an object included in the overlapping area is emphasized. This enables a user to easily recognize the image in the overlapping area.
