<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a holder for a cutting tool with a standard pitch to be used in a spindle head having both a collet type clamp and a curvic coupling. <P>SOLUTION: A curvic coupling 14 for coupling a holder for a turning tool with a spindle head 12 has a coupling member 31 provided on the spindle head 12. The coupling member 31 extends on the circumference around the axis of the spindle head 12 on a fore end surface of the spindle head 12. A liquid supply socket 61 is provided on the outer side in the radial direction of the coupling member 31. The holder 17 for the cutting tool which is clamped to a spindle 13 via the collet type clamp 16 has a liquid supply plug 62. A relay plug 64 connected to the liquid supply socket 61, a relay socket 65 connected to the liquid supply plug 62, and a communication passage 66 for communicating the relay plug 64 with the relay socket 65 are respectively provided on a relay block 63 which is attachably/detachably stretched to the liquid supply socket 61 and the liquid supply plug 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
