In a laminated iron core of a rotating electrical machine, a core block (12) is divided into a core-block body comprising a back-yoke section (13), and a core-block divided section comprising at least a portion of a magnetic pole teeth section (14). Space is made to be formed between the core-block divided section and the back-yoke section, by separating the core-block divided section from the back-yoke section. The core-block body is composed by laminating a plurality of main-portion core pieces. The core-block divided section is composed by laminating a plurality of divided-portion core pieces.
