<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of certainly preventing the insertion of a toner container having a small cross-section in an orthogonal direction to the insertion direction into a toner container attachment part for a toner container having a large cross-section without increasing the size of the apparatus in the crosswise direction. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: an image generation part; toner containers 32 for containing toner; guide rails 41 for supporting guided parts 344 respectively formed on parts of the toner containers 32 in the crosswise direction so as to protrude therefrom and for guiding the toner containers 32; and an inner cover 200 on which openings 201 are formed as supply ports for inserting four toner containers 32 to the printer 100 body. Each of the openings 201 is shaped along the guided part 344 included by each of the toner containers 32. The height H2 of the guided parts 344 of the three toner containers 32 except for a black toner container is higher than the height H1' of a part of an opening 201K, through which the guided part of the black toner container passes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
