<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device equipped with a safety switch control mechanism which is convenient and excellent in terms of human engineering. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device includes a front board having a housing hole, a top board which is placed over the upper end of the front board, and a safety switch control mechanism attached to the front board. The safety switch control mechanism includes a fitting part that is secured to the front board, a switch stored in the fitting part, and a rotation control assembly and a pressurizing member abutted with a top part of the switch. After the top board is placed over the front board, the top board pressurizes the pressurizing member, so that the pressurizing member elastically abuts with the top part of the switch, causing the switch to be conductive. After the top board is removed from the front board, the pressurizing member elastically restores upward, so that the pressurizing force on the switch is removed for turning off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
