<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device capable of easily and simply detecting translation motion and rotary motion of a longitudinally-movable and rotatable shaft, and to detect an axial position and rotation position of the longitudinally-movable and rotatable shaft, for example a shift shaft of a manual transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor device includes: a linear sensor having at least two sensor elements that are disposed in the longitudinal direction of the shaft, advantageously disposed in parallel to the shaft in one row, and disposed with its position fixed with respect to the shaft; and a generator, when the shaft performs the rotary motion, generating a univocal change of a measurement signal dependent on a rotation angle in at least one of the individually evaluable sensor elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
