<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem occurring when the same moving images are simultaneously recorded in a plurality of recording media that a moving image cannot be recorded in each recording medium such that the moving image to be recorded is played back in succession with a scene recorded immediately before the moving image. <P>SOLUTION: A recording apparatus is configured such that, in the case where moving image data is recorded in a recording medium, seamless information is created for discriminating whether or not the moving image data can be played back in succession with the preceding moving image data played back prior to the moving image data, a code amount of moving image data to be encoded by encoding means is adjusted based on a code amount of the preceding moving image data recorded in either one of a first recording medium or a second recording medium and the moving image data with the adjusted code amount and the seamless information are recorded in the first recording medium and the second recording medium in response to an instruction of simultaneous recording for simultaneously recording moving image data encoded by the encoding means in the first recording medium and the second recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
