<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient advertisement effect by continuously displaying the same advertisement on a portable terminal without affecting a startup of an application and also without being affected by operation of the application. <P>SOLUTION: An advertisement information reception unit 1111 acquires advertisement information from an advertisement distribution server 4 at a timing set by an advertisement acquisition timing setting unit 1110, and an advertisement storage unit 1112 stores the advertisement information acquired by the advertisement information reception unit 1111 in a storage unit 12. An advertisement background setting unit 1113 reads the advertisement information stored in the storage unit 12 to set the read advertisement information as a background of a display screen of a display unit 10, and an advertisement display unit 1114 performs full screen display of the advertisement information set as the background on the display unit 10.
