<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element capable of improving light-emitting efficiency, and to provide a light-emitting element unit including the same, and to provide a light-emitting element package obtained by covering the light-emitting element unit with a resin package. <P>SOLUTION: In a light-emitting element 1, a light-emitting layer 4, a second conductivity type semiconductor layer 5, a transparent electrode layer 6, a reflection electrode layer 7, and an insulation layer 8 are laminated on a first conductivity type semiconductor layer 3 in this order. A first electrode layer 10 and a second electrode layer 12 are laminated on the insulation layer 8 while being separated and insulated. The light-emitting element 1 includes: a plurality of insulation tube layers 9 arranged so as to be separated in a plan view, and penetrating through the reflection electrode layer 7, the transparent electrode layer 6, the second conductivity type semiconductor layer 5, and the light-emitting layer 4 continuously from the insulation layer 8 to reach the first conductivity type semiconductor layer 3; a first contact 11 passing through the insulation layer 8 and the insulation tube layer 9 continuously from the first electrode layer 10, and being connected with the first conductivity type semiconductor layer 3; and a second contact 13 penetrating through the insulation layer 8 continuously from the second electrode layer 12, and being connected with the reflection electrode layer 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
