<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of a battery pack and effectively utilize generated electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal device comprises: a solar cell module 11, arranged on the outer surface of a housing 1A on a display part side, for generating electric power by photoelectric conversion based on the light incident from the outside; a battery pack 12 capable of being charged with the electric power generated by the solar cell module 11, and supplying the electric power to drive its own terminal; a voltage/current detection part 21 for detecting the current or the voltage to be output from the solar cell module 11; a temperature sensor 24 for detecting the temperature of the battery pack 12; and a CPU 13. The CPU 13 controls the supply of the electric power generated by the solar cell module 11 so as to perform charging to the battery pack 12 when the battery pack 12 is determined in a chargeable state by the CPU 13, and the CPU 13 suppresses the charging to the battery pack 12 and controls the supply of the electric power generated by the solar cell module 11 so as to drive its own terminal when the battery pack 12 is determined in a state where charging is not possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
