<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that effectively suppresses the occurrence of a blocking phenomenon, and provides high print quality. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing device 11; medium cooling means 13 for cooling sheets 8 on which images are fixed; a stack rack 26 that stacks the sheets 8; a sensor 14 that detects temperature of the sheets 8 come out of the medium cooling means 13; a plurality of stack rack angle adjusting means 18 to 21; and stack state control means 30.
