Method for verifying the integrity of a set of data in a system creating at least one process executing at least one updating operation on the set of data, characterized in that the method comprises: for (101) each updating operation executed by a process created in the system: calculating (102) an operation hash value representing the updating operation by applying a hash function to the updating operation; aggregating (103) the operation hash value to a global hash value accumulator by applying an aggregation function; and when (104, 105) a condition for verifying the integrity of the set of data is satisfied: calculating (106) an element hash value for each element of the set of data by applying the hash function to each element of the set of data, calculating (107) an aggregated element hash value by aggregating the calculated element hash values by applying the aggregation function, verifying (108) the integrity of the set of data by comparing the aggregated element hash value and the global hash value accumulator.
